Mother of Alayna, wife of Paul. Cecelia is a wise and loving mother. Her patience for others and business know-how serve her perfectly in her position of owner of a local grocery store that her and her husband run with a few employees. She works out contracts with local farmers and handles interpersonal interactions.
Paul Wade

Father of Alayna, husband of Cecelia, close friend of Harold. Paul is energetic and eager for knowledge. With his head for facts and numbers, he is happy in his role at the grocery store he runs with his wife. Paul keeps an eye on the books and orders in any stock they can’t source locally.
Harold Woods

Head of the Crocus Height Committee, husband of Patricia, and stepfather of Rebecca and Samantha. Took on his wife’s name at marriage. Close friend of Renata, and Paul. Harold is doing his best, but still has a lot of anxiety and uncertainty to work through. Troubles connecting to his eldest step-child, Rebecca, hasn’t helped, either.

Best friend of Alayna, youngest child of Patricia, stepchild of Harold, and little sibling of Rebecca. Samantha is always ready for an adventure.

Girlfriend of Kiara, eldest child of Patricia, older sibling of Samantha, and reluctant stepdaughter of Harold. Rebecca is confident and to the point, though a bit aimless. She’s put off college and is more interested taking up a local trade.

Matriarch of the Woods family, friend of Alejandro and Renata, friend of Cecelia and Paul. Patricia is no-nonsense and dedicated to her family and the community. She has an intense passion for local sporting events against rival towns and supports her husband in his position of Committee Head.
Kiara Belmonte

Child of Renata and Alejandro, partner of Rebecca. Kiara is distant, gloomy, and slow to trust. They put off college despite being very interested in study and travel. Not much in Crocus Heights interests them aside from Rebecca. They have no desire to fall into life their parents want for them but can’t seem to find the way to tell them.
Renata Belmonte

Mother of Kiara, close friend of Harold, and part of the Crocus Heights Committee. Renata focuses her time on her passion of creating, organizing, planning community events. At one point she was head of the committee, but had to step down due to regular fatigue. While she misses her position, she can now focus her energy on the more fun parts of event planning.
Alejandro Belmonte

Father of Kiara, and patriarch of the Belmonte family. Bit of a goofball, but dedicated to his family, his job, and his community. While not a member of the Committee, Alejandro has a pride for his hometown and supports his wife’s volunteer work.
Agatha Rahal-Clement

Gruff with a soft spot for those in need. Agatha is a work-o-holic and throws herself deep into any case she gets through her Private Investigation firm.
